The Outdoor Art Project by Dubai Culture & Arts Authority (Dubai Culture), and Dubai Properties Group (DPG) selected 12 artists to explore everything from photography to video and mixed media installations, to express their creativity based on the theme ‘This is Dubai, the city that I lived in.’
Cat in the Big City is an interactive comic about a cat dreaming of being out in Dubai. The concept is based on the interaction between the viewer and the artwork into creating a storyline for a comic spread. The comic is set of illustrations that create a “silent” storyline with blank speech bubbles - a space for interaction between the artwork and the viewer to create an ever-changing storyline.
